You can enjoy our beautiful farmhouse guest kitchen at your leisure, and we will provide you with provisions for a continental breakfast. This includes local honey, home made bread, fruit and yoghurt. On cold winter evenings the wood burning range is lit in the kitchen, creating a cosy welcome

Adjoining is the elegant guest sitting room with plenty of books and games. You are also welcome to borrow our bikes.

Whether you are on holiday, or on business, you will appreciate our lovely, spacious and comfortable bedrooms, with views over the countryside. Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed. There are three, ensuite double bedrooms with king-sized beds (one of the rooms can be either a twin or a superking) The rooms are serviced twice a week.

Poundon is a small village of 100 inhabitants and is surrounded by fields. The ‘Sow and Pigs’ pub is a short walk away, and serves excellent and reasonably priced meals. There is ample, secure, off-road parking, and we can accommodate large vans etc.

ABOUT US We have retired from farming and enjoy meeting people, and creating a comfortable, welcoming and relaxed environment for all who come to stay. Our living quarters are in a separate wing of the house; we are always at hand to help.

LOCATION

Poundon is 6 miles north east of Bicester. Oxford, Aylesbury, Banbury and Milton Keynes can be reached within half an hour by car, and Buckingham is 8 miles to the north. Bicester has a direct train line to London Marylebone and takes under an hour.
